Holiday Grocery Boxes Frequently Asked Questions Please contact us if you have questions that are not answered on this page. Is this a hamper service? No – there’s nothing worse that a flash hamper full of foods you’re not that keen on! Our groceries come packaged in a practical box and are full of everyday food items (view the details of our grocery boxes on our Product Page). There is sufficient food to cater for ALL of your eating requirements for at least 3 days. Can I choose the food that goes into my box? When ordering one of our standard grocery boxes you would be given some choice on content. If you would like us to further customise a box then please e-mail us with your requirements and we will see if we can assemble and price a box to suit. Can I change any of the food items? If you have a specific preference not catererd for on our website please e-mail us and we would be delighted to see what we can do. Depending on the nature of your change we may quote you an amended price for the grocery box. Can I add extra items to my grocery box? Yes – if there is something special you would like added to one of our standard boxes we would love to be able to help. We will quote you an amended price for your grocery box. What if I have a food allergy not catered for? Please e-mail us with your allergy and requirements and we will see if we can assemble and price a box to suit. Can I get a supply for longer than 3 days? Our standard range caters for the days immediately following your arrival. In some cases the food items will last longer than 3 days, especially if you choose to eat out during this time. If you would like a larger supply please consider ordering more than one of our boxes or alternatively e-mail us with your requirements. We would welcome the opportunity to see if we can assemble and price a box to suit. Can I buy a grocery box once I arrive in New Zealand? Ordering in advance of your arrival in New Zealand allows us to ensure that your groceries are delivered to your motorhome for your arrival. If you would like to order after you have arrived please contact us by e-mail or by calling our customer care line. How will my chilled goods be kept cold? All chilled goods will be packaged in chiller bags separately from your main grocery box. They will be kept refrigerated to 4 degrees or less while being transported from our warehouse to your motorhome. We will then ensure that the fridge in your motorhome is turned on and the goods unpacked into it. You will be able to keep the chiller bag for use on your holiday. Can I return the grocery box or any of the items? In accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act, we will gladly replace any faulty or damaged item without question. Can I get a refund if I cancel my holiday? A full refund will be provided (on the credit card used for the original purchase) if you advise us up to 5 days before your pre-advised delivery date. After this a NZD60 fee will be deducted and the balance refunded. Within 24 hours of your delivery date no refund will be provided and we suggest that you consider claiming on your travel insurance. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions when ordering for full details. What happens if I change my mind? We will be happy to accept changes to your order up to 5 days before your delivery date. Please advise us of your new requirements in e-mail. What happens if my flight is delayed or changed? We will use the travel details provided at the time of placing your order to monitor the timing of your incoming flight to New Zealand. Where we are able to identify flight delays that will impact the collection time of your motorhome we will alter the delivery of your grocery box accordingly. If you are aware of changes in your arrival or flight details please ensure that you keep us posted via e-mail. Can I order a box and pay for it without using the internet? While we prefer to receive all our orders and payment over the internet, please contact us using our customer care line if you would like a holiday grocery box and are unable to make an internet order. Are my credit card details safe? Yes – internet security is implemented on our site to ensure that your credit card details are safe. Is the information I provide you with private? Yes – we undertake not to share any of the information that you have provided with without your permission. When placing an order with holiday grocery boxes we seek your approval to liaise with your motorhome regarding the your motorhome and the collection of it so that we can ensure your groceries are ready and waiting. |
